How long have you been in business?
David Zimmerman started Terra-Sol Landscaping in 1977. Many of our employees have been here for most of that time.
Rea, the office manager, has been with the company since April 1, 2000 "I love working for/with David & working with our many customers"
Dan F. has been with the company since 1985.
What is your primary product or service?
New or Remodeled Landscaping. We do NOT do Maintenance, (totally different area of Landscaping.) David can design your project with you or work off of an already drawn up design. Our guys are experts at Retaining Walls 4' & under, Installing & maintaining: Rainbird Irrigation Systems, Water Features, & Garden Paths & Steps. They also install Paver & Flagstone Patios & Paths & other Hardscapes. And to dress up your outdoors we can install Outdoor Lighting.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Loved working with designing & transforming Home Landscaping. Love working with the great variety of plants & materials we have here in Oregon.
Also Love working with people & seeing their reactions to the transformation.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We work Year Round & we work within each customers budget & needs to bring them their perfect outdoors.
If needed, we will also install Landscaping in sections or in stages, where many landscapers won't. (from what we are told
from customers).
We have a written One Year Guarantee on all products & services. (In writing upon request)
All appointments are made at your location. We do not give quotes over the phone, because of all the variables involved in
each project. We want to make our bids as close to what it is really going to be instead of guessing. We like being up front & honest with our
customers & then we work to keep with that bids numbers. If in working on the project & our client wants to make changes, we work with them
to do that.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our office & yard are located in Tualatin, OR. We are licensed in Oregon only
We work in the Portland-Metro area as far out as Hillsboro, Newberg/Dundee, Gresham, N Portland & down to Woodburn.

What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Cash or Check. We do not take credit cards at this time.
Which areas do you service?
We service Portland-Metro & surrounding areas in Oregon only.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
David Zimmerman is the President & Designer/Estimator
Rea Branch is our Office Manager/Bookkeeper.
What are your hours of operation?
Work done: M - F 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Sat. when needed with large projects)
Office: currently M - F 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. You can always leave a message & we will get back to you just as quickly as possible.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
We Love the completed work and will definitely send referrals to our friends & family & on other web sites stated on your Web site.
Another is customers calling and letting us know how much their neighbors love the transformation.
